Our enhanced chain cutting service features four fully automated Chain Cutting Machines designed to handle higher order volumes and reduce lead times. Unique in the UK, these machines provide a fast and highly accurate automated chain cutting process.

The machines accommodate a broad range of chain sizes from ½” pitch to 1 ¼” pitch, as well as extended pitch in AL, BL, LL, and FLC series, in simplex, duplex and triplex formats. Each machine can cut Leaf Chain or Roller Chain and can also produce Extended Pin Chains.

Each machine is programmed with the chain type, pitch, configuration (simplex, duplex or triplex) and required length. Chain is loaded by crane, then automatically tensioned and fed into a cutting chamber. The machine performs the cut and repeats the process until the specified length is achieved. After each cut, the chain is automatically dispensed for inspection and packaging.
